Ben Broussard has been a musician since the seventh grade, playing in a wide array of bands and displaying even then the seed that the Lord was planting and cultivating, though completely oblivious to him at the time. One day in High School, deep in the heart of the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California, Ben found a new meaning for his song - His heart became a posession of God. Now, Ben contributes to the eclectic Pierced sound with low bass frequencies and an energetic on-stage persona, and occasionally leads worship for mass at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA. He is married to his lovely bride, Simonne Guerin Broussard, and they are expecting their first child: A baby boy. Ben is an Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, an avid LSU fan while claiming to be a self-proclaimed BCS analyst.

I really started living life to the fullest in 1999 when I began my walk with Christ. My profession is as an attorney and I married to my wonderful wife, Lori, since 2001. We have one child named Isabel Carmen Carter. I've been playing and writing music all my life. It has always been a great passion. By allowing God into my life, His Spirit into my soul, and His son into my heart, the music that results is far greater than anything I could ever create on my own.

Mark's interest in the guitar began in 1993. It didn't take long before he became hooked into using his talent for God's glory. Young Life, and particularly Camp Woodleaf, had great influence on Mark and his music. However, being brought up in an incredibly loving and supportive family has had the greatest influence on Mark. Other musical influences include Ed Cash, Bebo Norman, Jars of Clay and many others. Mark is currently a volunteer music minister at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Lafayette. There, his beautiful wife, Kristen , helps lead worship for the LIFE TEEN Mass. Shawn Carter is also a part of their worship team. As a career, Mark is actively involved in real estate appraising and is seeking his appraiser's license.
What you desire that Pierced will accomplish: To allow Christ to give us "hearts of servants", therefore using Pierced to spill out the love of God, touching people's hearts.

Kristen Dunbar is a second grade teacher, a wife (fellow Piereced member-Mark Dunbar), future mother, and singer. She began discovering her musical talents during high school when she learned the guitar and began singing in a local youth choir. These early experiences have brought her to where she is today--sharing God's love through gift and song. Kristen leads worship with Mark at Our Lady of Fatima's (Lafayette, LA) 6 pm Mass.

Sarah was raised in a Catholic family where she received alot of attention because she was the only child. She was raised to love music by both of her parents who are musicians of some nature. Sarah jumped into her journey with Christ somewhere between her junior and senior year of high school. She followed him all the way to this great city and has been blessed everyday in some way. Sarah has been a member of Pierced for a little of a year and feels priviledged to play with such fine musicians. Sarah plays at the 6pm mass at Fatima, and once a month she plays the classical mass at St. Pius at 5pm. She plays guitar everyday, and writes music that no one will hear, its her secret for the time being. Sarah is a student at The Univeristy of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in English and hopes to graduate next Fall.
